Dr. Heath Phillips is originally from Shelbyville, TN, and has always had a strong connection to the Upper Cumberland. He earned his undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cookeville’s own Tennessee Tech University before completing his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Dentistry in 2021.

After dental school, Dr. Phillips and his wife, Macy, returned to the Upper Cumberland and have now grown into a family of five with their three children, Kian, Kendall, and Kyler. They are grateful to call this community home and for the opportunity to care for the families who live here.

Dr. Phillips believes dentistry is about much more than treating teeth—it is about building relationships, earning trust, and helping each patient achieve a healthy, confident smile. He is committed to providing high-quality, evidence-based care that is thoughtfully tailored to each patient’s individual needs and goals. He continually pursues advanced training and technology so that his patients can receive exceptional care close to home.

Outside the office, Dr. Phillips is first and foremost a Christian, husband, and dad. He enjoys spending time with Macy and their three children, being active in his local church, fly fishing, and enjoying the outdoors. He considers it a privilege to live, work, and raise his family in the Upper Cumberland and is honored to serve the community he loves.
